Dumplin' by Julie Murphy

Personally I loved the book. I could not put it down because of how descriptive it is. WIllow has body insecurities and it all goes down hill when she meets Bo and she signs up for beauty pageant hosted by her mom. If you like reading books that sound like someone is talking to you, then read this. It uses a lot of curse words so most of the time it can be funny. It can really relate to you if you are also a high schooler who struggles with your peers and your friendships. Throughout the story it gets more and more interesting because of what Willow has to deal with, especially with the death of her closest friend, her aunt Lucy.
