Gym Candy by Carl Deuker

I really enjoyed this novel because the story is very relatable. Because most athletes come to the contemplation of performance enhancing supplements and most don’t do it. But sometimes the want to be the best is too much. But I related to the story a lot with the sport being football and the kid even having red hair. So it reminded me of me when I was younger.
