Drowned City by Don Brown

my book is called drowned city. it is about hurricane katrina in new orleans. this book is about how the hurricane impacted the city of new orleans and how dangerous katrina was. on august 29, 2005, monstrous winds and surging water struck new orleans, overwhelming the levees guarding the low lying city. i think it is crazy how 80% of the city was flooded and in some spots it was 20 ft. deep. they had an unbelivable amount of damage done ($100 billion) more than 1400 people lost their lives. i think this book is a great book and i think people should read it because it will tell you how dangerouse hurricanes can be and it is also an easy book to read. overall this is a great book!!
