i thought it was a good book about footballs winningest coach it stats off when he is a boy living in a small town in arkansas he didn't even know what was a football was until he was a teen he got his nick name from his friends when they read a sign saying 1 dollar per minute to any one who will wrestle a bear and his friends made bryant do it. he was fighting the bear when the bear swiped at him and he felt his ear burning he reached for it and his hand was bloody after the fight he went to collect his reward to find out that the bear and the person had already left town with his reward. but he got the nick name bear bryant .when he was 16 years of age he joined the football team he was a star a very mean a tough player he later got a scholarship to alabama where he was a good player and after that he became a assistant coach at t&m then jumped around from job to job when he finally landed the job at his old school alabama where he created a dynasty and made alabama a power house in football.
