Halloween Party by R.L. Stine

The book is about 2 people Terry and Niki on halloween night. At first they start in a cemetery and there walking around and come across a grave that says DIED OCTOBER 31, 1884. Then they start talking about the stories about fear street which I guess is the street that this party there going to is on and about like the myths about the place or are they only myths. But when they get to the party the lights go out and when they come back on there's a boy with a KNIFE IN HIS BACK!! And now they have to find the killer.
